    Couple fueling Q's

So I've been thinking to upgrade my fueling system in the future. Here is couple of questions I have not found an answer yet. My target is 450hp hp from wheels with RE85.

I'm replacing my fuel lines, will the stock 8mm (od) will it be enough for 450hp?

Connecting to fuel rail? I understand that these are the correct item.

Speedflow - Bosch fuel regulator fitting Gives male -6 AN to allow high performance hose connection Has a convex seat on the female metric port. See all our products here

Stock fuel filter. Will it flow enough? What are you suggesting for replacement? Racing filter under hood? The OEM is in kinda terrible place to replace.

Does anyone have experience with Walbro 450 lph RE85 approved pump? I know that many of you are running 044, but just 1500h lifetime with E85

8mm hose will be enough for 450hp on petrol, but with E85 you need to flow 30% more so I'd be going for -8AN hose and fittings which gives you an 11mm bore vs 8mm bore for the -6AN.

Can the larger od fuel pipe be mounted to OEM clips by widening them/what is the solution to mount wider pipes to chassis?

I have been driving few years now with E85 and factory fuel everything except 044 inline pump and ev14 1000cc injectors. No nothing special yet. Was dynoed about 570hp in a hub dyno.

Have heard stories about failing bosch fuel pumps, so a fuel pressure gauge could be handy though...

You just need few pumps but the piping is good if it's not rotten

That's good to know. I'll stick to the 8mm line.

Anyone changed the OEM fuel filter to something more easily serviceable?

Any experiences with the Walbro 450lph E85 in tank pump?
