If the level is fine and pressure looks to be ok, then its probably a dodgy connection on the sensor itself, possibly due to all the wet weather of late?

Below the water rail is a kind of cylindrical shaped sensor that is screwed into the block with two wires attached. Pretty sure one is a blue wire... Sometimes these sensors fail and/or sweat oil giving erroneous readings.
Below that is another single wire oil sensor that is screwed into the block.
When do you get beeps - at idle or cruising? There is supposed to be an alert at 0.3bar below ~2500rpm and another alert at 1.8bar if revs exceed ~2500rpm.
The two wired sensor is the oil pressure sender and 0.3bar alarm switch from memory. The one wired sensor is the 1.8bar alarm. I might have that bass ackwards so no guarantees !
This happened to me last year, it was the lower sensor (one wire). Was a bit of a swine to get out, all rusted up. Had to wait till i did a rad swap to get sufficient access to it.
I've been ignoring it lately but it's doing my head in now. Definitely only kicks in at approx 2200rpm. Cruising in 6th at those revs, oil pressure gauge indicates between 3 and 4 bar.
This definitely a rad out job? I had a peek for the sensors.... maybe if ET gave me a hand?
Is it definitely oil and not power steering fluid, mine does this when i have lost a little fluid moving the pump or disconnecting the pump supply pipe but there is sufficient to not activate the alarm until the revs get over a certain level and the fluid drops.
