ok so crank has been changed! does this make much difference obvious more torque but presumably less revvy, i was told that it was a porsche hybrid turbo so could well be.

It can be ABY engine after major engine work. Previous head can be blown of by this turbo and "tuning" on the WG. As far I understand, engine is not running standard ECU, so maybe it was needed to do back conversion to the distributed ignition, because tuning ecu has not support that (sounds impossible, but things happen )
BTW no offence, but when I see that spooky thing on the WG, usually it means for me, that it is latvian rally car which blows one engine per rally. They even have hone on the bonnet to fit it ...

200 20vt 88' 3b, human carrier
CQ typ85 with AAN inside, see project blog at http://kwlw.blogspot.com
no offence taken, the wg had already been modified so i just made it look better i plan to wind it back to almost std settings when its running and only increase it when im feeling like a like burst of speed.
Supposedly the car was running nearly 400 bhp but i plan to make it a but more user friendly.

Maybe but it's got the 3B fuel rail and IM, i think it's a 3B thats been modified up to a higher spec.
Looks like 3B/RR inlet manifold/fuel rail. Turbo looks like it has a K27 comp housing from the number of bolts. 3B/RR cam cover. Get p/n of injectors. Not all "greens" are RS2!
See if there are any numbers on the front of the cylinder head, exhaust side. Should be a boss stamped with numbers. Believe the RR and AAN have theirs on that. Think 3B is towards the rear. Mind, that will only tell you where the head originated from!
Is this ex Sienna by any chance?
