    1 bar boost max

The problem is that my S2 doesn't boost more than 1 bar. When I start the engine then after first hard acceleration it boosts 1,5 like it should but after 2nd or 3rd run it doesn't go more than exactly 1,0 bar and holds it there steadily till the red line. What could cause this?

I have disconnected battary - no change. Disconnected the WGFV and then it goes only 1 bar.
    MAF - ok
    By-pass - ok
    No air leaks

With no WGFV a standard S2 should only boost to about 0.4 bar shouldn't it

    Is your car standard?

Sounds like a stiff spring is fitted - and of course the ECU should be programmed with that in mind. Are the chips standard ?

My car is with RS2 specs and the chip is also changed, so is the WG spring. It used to boost 2+ bar but now it boosts normally only 1-2 times after engine start up. Then it doesn't go more than exactly 1 bar.

I found out that exhaust gases were leaking between the head and EM flange. I now took the EM off and saw that the leak was bretty big. Could it be the cause for the low boost pressure?
