Wet or Dry NOT Wet and Dry

I have been thinking of my next power upgrade already. Not content with the good times that i did at GTi. I want more. I would love to buy myself a GT40R, but cash isnt that abundant at present. So in the mean time i have been thinking of adding a nice hard 100bhp of NOS.

Now i know you will all take the piss out of me for doing this, but its an affordable way of getting near to my 600bhp target for 2005. It might also help get rid of the lag that i now have.

I would buy a new turbo this year, but someones elses Audi needs a set of wheels and an exhaust!! Im sure most of you know who i mean

No doubt she will then want a big turbo too, or 4Wdrifters a3 will be faster and that wont do.

That is tempting, but whats a K26/27 #8 worth with 7k miles on it?? Never been thrashed, honest

If i changed turbos I would have to change my exhaust manifold flange and oil and water lines. Cant be arsed this year (yet). Maybe NOS first and then a bigger turbo, aim for 700bhp for 2006

Tom if you do decide to opt for a nitrous kit i may be able to get you a good discount on one, a friend of mine races his beetle (an old style convertible one) and he uses it on his car.... you'll have to shave another 1.5secs of your 1/4 mile time to equal his car at the moment, so with a lil laughing gas im sure its possible.

No not at all, very good idea IMHO. Still learning about NOS but I would maybe go for the wet system sometime in the future.
