Do you need to trim the standard bumper on the inside around the indicator / fog lamp mounting on the drivers side for this to fit?
Or is my RS2 crossmember bent a bit too much?
It needed some coaching to get it on, but not that much!

Thanks Jamo.
I definately have contact to the point where it won't bolt up as I can't get the standard bolts to even catch a thread. i.e. not long enough.
The bumper won't go back enough. It was dark though. I will try to refit the crossmember a bit lower.
Any ideas on a replacement for the torx screws and nuts in the inner wheel arch / wing as mine decided to part company with the wing on the way out!

Not just the nuts / bolts required, I need to devise a different method of holding it in place. The nuts on the wing are no more, I killed them when I crossed to the dark side.

That's way too easy to do Bry!! thankfully mine were all copper slipped!! lesson for those who need it ;-) Can you not nut n bolt it using big 'repair washers' for the inner wing side of the bolt? All you really need then is some longer bolts to pass through the hole were the thread used to be then nut it from the inner wing side.
Getting the bumper back over the RS2 cross member was hard for sure on mine to, I had to put a lot of pressure on the bumper downwards to stand a chance of getting the bolts in and on. I used a new RS2 x memeber so mine wasn't damaged, it just was a tight fit for sure! get a second person to assist and it should go on
Got 600 plastic nuts and bolts from the bay of flees for £6.50 delivered.
Does anyone want a replacement for the rusty audi setup?
Jamo were you using an RS2 crossmember ?
I have attacked my crossmember and the back of the bumper and it now sits square.
There was no way it was going to fit on mine without something being removed form one or both of these items.
No boost leaks anymore as I found that my dump valve had rubbed through on the plastic headlight protector
Find that with a pressure test.

Now I need the brakes!
Big thanks to ChrisP for all his help.
