    Update on cut out problem

    Folks,

Quick update on the ol' car...

I just called the mechanic , who has now got it up and running. It was defo the fuel pump that had ceased up. And thanks to a massive favour from Doug, who sent me his spare fuel pump, all is well on that front. Hopefully this change will give me a better MPG read-out too.

Now Im just waiting for the cambelt to be changed, and a minor service.

Then, its the tappits and hoses that need a seeing to. (Oh, and the bleedin insurance!)

Paul N, will you be OK to do tappits and hoses, in terms of spare time? Ill give you a bell once I know when Ill get the car back - please let me know when is a good time to bell you.

IN the mean time, everything seems to be running hunky dory, jack n ory
(Then Ill be given the bill for repairs )

Oh well, what has to be done, has to be done.........
