cheers guys, yup will be a metal one as i think this is all thats available at the moment, ive got a set of 7a cams here so might fit them at the same time as the heads off anyway. Trying to source some other goodies too, but ill see how far i can stretch my budget.
Just really really gutting as id just got back into enjoying driving it and ironed out a few teething problems and was looking forward to just driving the bloody thing

I can totally believe you're gutted, I'm sure that's an understatement. There must be a way to get the RAC to cough up for their **** up?
Glad to see you're using it as an opportunity to mod though! If you do put the 7as in, see if you can get an RS2 intercooler and a re-map should see you right for around the 300bhp mark...
