i just went from the aby inlet to 7a inlet - I already had the 7A exhaust cam in.
It now has more power higher up, more boost higher up, more lag and less torque - with just that change.
I am going on 2 different RRs next week to see what we have.S2,RS2,S4 WB,RS4,S4 B8,RS6 C5,RS6 C6,R8Comment

Yea, I don't trust half of these guys and their correction factors but they do post the numbers so I tend to look at them and form opinions on what will do what. Most of them run Garrett turbos and some of them are going to the newer GT35R DBB turbos. I have yet to dyno my car and don't plan to untill I get custom SW. For now the G-Tech gives me at least a balpark on what works and what does not. A tuned full RS2 spec car here on average is getting 300-330whp depending on if they have a FMIC.

What turbos were these cars running? What power levels do full RS2 specced cars do - that is probably a good indication of correction factors.91 Audi Coupe Quattro- AAN engine transplantComment

My injectors flow 21% more fuel than RS2 injectors at the same rail pressure. So i dont need to worry about them for 500+bhp.
RS2 injectors wouldnt work with my setup, they cant supply enough fuel. Im already having to run rich at high revs to compensate for pinking, caused by back pressure from the "small" #8 hotside. (I think im right Mik??)
My turbo cant do any more power without sending it into ineffieciency(?), it would just heat the air and not create any more power. Also stressing it beyond a reasonable service life.
Would be very interesting to get the same car on a US dyno and a UK dyno. I aint doing Garret turbos, dont trust these modern things! I like lag, gives me something to look forward too when it does decide to spool.
It looks like i am gonna have to keep my current manifold and just repair it and change the flange size. I have access to a K27/29 #11 hotside, but i think this wont boost until the redline!! Might be worth trying on there just for a laughsigpic

That rs2 spec figure shows the difference between RRs as they are probably reading >20% more than they would over here - at the wheels.
Best thing is to start timing between 2 speeds with cars - that are in the same gear and on boost - or get some us cars and european cars on the same dyno - When are they building the tunnel?
