You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.
We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
I bought chips of ebay a year ago, they do work but i want to put the original ones back in tonight so i can see how the car runs and rule them out of a recent performance problem. not sure which chip is turbo and which is engine, can i do trial and error or can that damage ecu?
Also my turbo is whistling a bit does that mean its on its way out?
LOL, i bet those chips have killed the turbo!! But to swap back, the boost chip lives on the same board as the map sensor(vacuum pipe) and the fuel/timing chip is the other one. Dont forget to line up pin 1 or it will do some damage, they dont like that a lot.
