I don't believe it!

After saying how reliable my S2 was in another thread yesterday and not wishing to tempt fate, I took it out for a drive yesterday only to come back to water pouring from the base of the main rad!!!

I now have to source and fit a new radiator in time for Tues when I am supposed to be having an advanced driving lesson! Looks like I might have to cancel that.

Sods law prevails...

The original ones seem to last 10-15 years so that's not really a surprise.

Get a high quality one. That means no Nissens.

My rad went recently - so that's 14 years...
Have you got the Aux rad still? If that's in there and that's an original item it wouldn't surprise me if that's leaking like a leaky thing too?

Who had you booked the advanced driving with?

If you search the forum for the word Behr you will find the GSF part numbers that i posted.

The Guy at GSF says the part number you have used - 17355 does not fit an ABY S2.

I am now confused as well as pissed off about my rad!

Steve, thats because the Nissen and Behr rad are listed as 3B items.

The rad fits 3B and ABY.

Phone the number i've just PM you, he fitted my rad as well so you can ask him.
