    Fuel Supply

I have bought tha Aeromotive A1000, Aeromotive Press regulator and filter, to upgrade the fuel supply for my engine! But in my investigation i discover that the fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank! And the filter underneath the car behind the Battery compartment. I not sure if the A1000 pump is built to stand inside the tank.

So is it any problem to do a serial connection of the pumps, and just install the pump where the original filter is located?
Or do it have to be a paralell connection to make it all work?
Anyone know if the pump can be placed inside the tank? (Doesnt have isolated electrical connection...)

    Cheers!

Don't think anyone has done that here, but because the tank is designed for a fuel pump with submerged pick-up then I think you might have some problems with an external pump. I have no experience of the Aeromotive pump so I don't know if it can be mounted internally.

The Bosch motorsport fuel pump has been a successful upgrade for several forum members. Its a straight fit - with a different Audi pump collar and provides sufficient flow for silly power (circa 500bhp). Maybe you can return the Aeromotive pump and go the proven Bosch route ?

I must agree that an adjustable FPR would be a nice feature - I see there is a direct replacement part on the 034EFI site - its a neat way to trim fuel pressure exactly where you want it.
