RS2 Bumper, Yes or Know?

Yeah I have RS2 bumper and I think it can look too rounded sometimes, and I honestly think that the squarer edge of the stock part is probably a better piece aerodynamically (it looks like it would produce less lift, but looks can be deceiving).
The RS2 bumper has very discreet washer jets, the stock items are way too big and look totally gash...
(...but who needs washers?)
Having said that, everyone I know loves the look of the genuine RS2 part, and it's really a matter of personal taste. I'm quite happy with it, except for the fragility of the part (I've cracked it again recently having hit a bird, more expense for replacement lights too...)

How Mullered is it Jamo ?Originally posted by JamoYeh it will but it will cost the same as buying a 2nd hand bumper and spraying it as pearl paint doesn't blend too well.
I'll sort it
Got any pics ?
I have picked up a Coupe Bumper and prepped it for paint but would like an S2 one....
How badly damaged is yours ? I might be interested
Cheers

Ive been meaning to post about these RS2 replica bumpers that come up on ebay to see if anyone has experience of them
I quite like the idea of the RS2 bumper but then opening up the centre vent at the bottom to fully curve up round the top as well where the plate is meant to go, ive seen a car on here with it done, that bling blue one i think it was and it looks good i think. If i go for a lot more power and big IC i think thats how i'd like mine to be and then the mission for putting the front plate else where begins lol.
I have to agree with some of the above tho that the RS2 bumper doesnt always seem to suit as it seems to curvy for the otherwise rather square S2, but it seems to suit some colours better than others, i also think having the RS2 mirrors helps as it adds a bit more of that curvy look to the carAnt

I all seriousness, I would stick to the Standard bumper which IMO looks perfect. I too think the RS2 one is too rounded for the S2 and maked the front look a bit soft. If you were to do anything I would try an RS2 grille just to toughen the front up a bit. I did a quick photoshop of the RS2 grille on mine but decided with the car being such a dark colour in most lights it make the front too plain on mine...
