  • Deviant with a marker pen

    Ok...

So i came down to my car this morning, and found that some deviant had written "xCx" across my bonnet with a black marker!!!

    Naturally I was outraged.

Any ideas on how to get the marker off without damaging my paint?

    Thanks folks.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune, you could try surgical spirits that will certainly work, I can't vouch for it being paint friendly though. Whatever you use I'd have warm soapy water to hand to rinse off immediately.

If you ever catch him, I suggest spray painting his face bright red. That'll teach him.

            Nuvo.

I'd try Meguiars paint cleaner, it's a great product. Really works wonders on faded red paintwork, I'm sure it will remove marker pen too.

I tried some nail polish remover.

Seems to have done the trick. (Added moisturiser too!!)

I think i'll go put on some polish just to keep it protected.

                Thanks folks!!

Too late to help you, but I was recently shown a neat trick on white boards, which would have worked here.

If a numpty uses a permanent market on a white board, simply write over the permanent with the white board marker, then rub off! It really works

                  Cheers n
