What have you done about the boot handle?

I looked at fitting one of these from an Audi 90 but didn't work out how to do the boot release.

The latch/handle had to be stripped apart and cut down to make clearance for the new rear cluster, i did not want to start hacking it to pieces. The result is very clean and looks almost factory.

So you cut the handle back so it is hidden behind the top edge of the cluster?

Not easy to see what you've done but this would make sense.

I like the one you had before. In the US we call the all red back ends a baboons ***. Its not so bad on the Avants but the coupes look much better without all that red.
