    Worn Door Hinges

I've noticed recently that the top hinge on my drivers door is worn and I can lift the rear of the door about half an inch. I also get a creaking noise from this door whilst driving along on uneven roads.

How can I put this right? Is there an oversize hinge pin available or a repair kit or do I have to look for a new hinge? I know that coupes suffer from this problem as when I was looking to buy my 16v coupe that I had before I got the S2 Avant almost all of the cars I looked at had quite bad door drop.

I would get another hinge from a breakers yard and spray if necessary.

You can't get the pins on their own. Just a complete hinge. BTDT. Unless you make one.
