I took a look one weekend and they wouldnt fit they way that I had tried. I havent had an opportunity to have a play again since, been maxed out at work. Hoping to take a few days off and have another go soon. I reckon if the brackets are chopped down they can be fitted ok.

Does that mean I need to order another set for my car then?

Got my new brakes now so will be wanting to try and fit these behind my monstrous new discs

They're not on yet. The brake fairy is making the brackets for them.

Suffice to say the discs come from the same car as those back plates and the calipers have twice as many pots as my current porsche calipers.

I have done this little mod with pipes leading to the top of the wheel hub. Backing plate has been removed.

I took another look at these ducts this morning. I reckon I can make them fit with a few adaptions. The backing plate is only any use for the bracket.

Ben would you mind if i cut this up? or fabricate a new backing plate with the mounts for the duct.

On full lock there was just enough clearance from the wishbone if it is mounted in the right place. It will be more difficult on my car with 17's since it could do with a little more clearance. I wont be able to tell anymore on that until i have made some brackets to try them with.

I think 18's would be a better wheel to fit them into. I have taken a few pics this time too

with the duct held in place there is a little clearance from ABS sensor. But since the bracket screws up from the otherside this shouldnt be an issue

I put it on full lock and if positioned correctly there is about 10mm from wishbone and plenty around the rest of it.

                              Greg,

It might be worth me ordering you one of the smaller versions for 323mm or 360mm discs. They would probably be a better fit with your 330mm discs and 17" wheels.

The ones you have at the minute are the 364mm version which go with the 364mm discs I'm going to use.

Ah right, the 323's might be a better choice then. I will try and make my own backing plate eventually
