Becareful not to get ripped off by some socalled chips away lads you can do yourself what they do, most of the time .if you fill the chips in over a few days layerinfg the paint up then compound the paint back to the correct level .Try dent masters or the like very good for minor stuff .
Jamo. For what its worth I would be very sceptical of Chipsaway.
Reason being, I tapped up a Chipsaway bloke while I was in a petrol staion (at work)He lives in spitting distance from work too, sounded the part and thought I might get a decent job done.........
*****. Colour was a poor match, and the lacquor had a flat spot on it.....It was better scratched Turned out he ditched his job to buy into the Chipsaway franchise, and this was more or less his first job at it. Needless to say he did not get paid what he wanted and I took the car where I should have in the first place.
Ultimately, Chipsaway - and many similar boys - are only as good as the people who operate the equipment. Effectively you would need an experienced sprayer doing the chipsaway thing , then you would get a decent job......
IMHO, get a body/paint shop to do it, ideally recommendedby someone you know.......
Yeah, better using a body shop for paint work. I had a stone chip repaired by Chipsaway. Not a satifactory result, paint wise anyway. Gonna have get it done properly at some stage.
They (and others) can be good at small dents though, but as Dean said, their only as good as the operator on the day.
