RS2 Fuel cap - lockable or not??

My fuel cap is a simple twist on/off; as the fuel filler door isnt lockable or remote release, I thought the cap ought to be?

thats strange my avant fuel flap is remote locked

It locks on the central locking. Lock your car then try to open it. The is a small actuator that works with the c/l.

Hi I would have thought all RS2 have the filler flap as part of the central locking as standard.

If your car doesn't have central locking then you have a choice of two lockable filler caps one that requires a separate key and a second type which uses the standard key (no tumblers or springs).

i'm sure when you lock the car by key or remote i solenoid comes out to prevent the fuel flap from opening it did on my avant 93(r.i.p)

I've never tried it opening it with car locked!

mine locks as soon as the key is off the engine.
