They are? Damn, too late for me to go out and compare. Sure looked the same to me.
At least the strip under the headlights is the same.
I knew Sal had one in the right colour Ross, but I'd be careful taking an Emerald green S2 to Sal's, especially a 3B. He'll take his 12" disk cutter to it, if you're not careful.

Honest mate, they are BTDT.
@ Ross. Noticed you say in other threads that you are thinking of getting the later ellipsoids. Also you say above that your under-headlight trim is goosed.
It maybe worth your while not bothering to replace that trim strip with a brand new one as yet, reason being for a few reasons;
A replacement new one from Audi is silly money for what it is, I paid £50 + vat for a new one on one of my old cars as the pattern part one I used first was thinner, didn't fit right and rotted like ******y.
If you wait and buy the later two piece ones then it'll save you having to chop the inner fixing mounts of the new lights and they are way cheaper with them being plastic.
2001 Avus Silver B5 RS4.
2004 A4 Avant 1.8T quattro Sport-LE.
1995 S2 Coupe - sold (sniff)
Yep. You're right Jas.
B3s can't be the same as the bonnet catch goes through the front of the actual panel, rather than hook onto a bracket attached to the front.
It's the top and lower part of the 'T' panel being the same that confused me.
Sorry to doubt you mate. It is over a year ago that my cq20v was taken away from me.
That looks like a pre March '90 7A to me.

Cheers - I'll be replacing the Slam panel as a priority, so the little trim bit can wait. A bit more bending yesterday and actually it's not that bad, and the part where the paint has fallen of is hidden once teh bonnet is down
Not 100% on the ellipsoids yet, gonna see what Martyn pulls outta the bag for the 'improved' 3B HID kit The suspension U/G will have to be priority though, to handle the soon-to-be-had power increase
