headlight reflectors!

Is it possible to spray the headlight reflectors with a chrome paint as mine are totally knackered!Theirs moss growing inside the one!Also wanted to tint the headlight glass and uprate the bulbs as best i can,see the pia do the most expensive bulbs but are they worth it?ideas for tinting glass/which bulbs please!

Get over to S246 parts and get in on the HID group buy, yes it's not on this forum but it's too much of a bargain to miss out on!

If you missed the Vagparts Extreme HID's (which i recommend ) go get these while you can for those on a tigher budget.

I assume you have projector style headlamps? If you do just paint the headlight part black, looks much better, if you search you'll get more info on this as well.

That was the fibreguy (Imran who had it done) he also used some new projectors which made a hell of a difference.

Can i ask a stupid question i have read loads of posts on HID conversion but what exactly is it? Is it what all the modern cars are fitted with? Are they basically xenons? sorry for the dumb questions and sorry for the hijack

Guys this is for H1 bulbs so the 3B's unless you've got Ellipsoid lights it's not for you.

It is a twin box Milltek yes mate, but there's also the added awful sound of the engine sitting on the front subframe mixed in too as per the "bad" workmanship thats been done to my car.
I'm going to do another vid this weekend to show Steve (fat dude) what it sounds like and also of Mark's one box longlife and stick em both in that other thread.

You are correct Jamo, it was Imran (thefibreguy) who had his reflectors re-chromed last year.
The company is called VCM & are based in Chertsey (J11 M25) 01932 563434, and as per his PM it was around as you say; £80 for both.

Forget the PIAA, get some HID's, they rock

I've heards Rotoryboys car, i was looking around before he even turned into donnington car park, raw as f*ck!

Shame the full Milttek is sooo expensive.
