ive got the ones that you have fitted at the mo jas, mines an early 91 3b so yes looks like they are the older type....i like the look of the newer type though

You don't need to buy a whole new fog if you want to change at some point. Vagparts will sell you just the lense and the case and then you swap out the projector inside with a fitting kit, again from Vagparts.

New fog complete = around the £90 mark
New lense/case and fitting kit = around the £45 mark

The audi 90 fogs are different not only by that lines, but the glass doesent came out enough to fit in the B4 shape. The blinkers are different too.

New fogs and the correct type too. Those nice guys at Vagparts supplied me with new lenses and cases (all in one unit) and fitting kits to swap out the internals (ellipsoid fog unit) Only PITA bit was fitting the new plastic adjuster bush to the knurled end of the new adjuster bolt, small G-clamp sorted that in the end.

You can see in the pics the different thickness of the lenses themselves, hence why my indicators sat slightly forward of the fog unit.
New = white unit, Old = black unit.. Also stuck a new set of white indicators on. Old ones for sale if anyone needs?

Fog lamp lens - LH = 8A0 941 723
Fog lamp lens - RH = 8A0 941 724
Fitting kit for above (same for both sides, you need x 2) = 893 998 135

Nah, no slippers for me as I have a Coupé, not an Avant

All new door rubbers and new bumper grilles too though I now have "two" spare offside grilles Ordered new off Marty, too late to cancel after I found two brand spankers at Stanford Hall for a fiver each

This'll interest you Steve. Club member who enters his V6 Coupe in concours events up and down the country and who always wins his class. I've NEVER seen such a clean coupe other than a brand spanker Even the engine bay side of his undertray is cleaned for the judges

In this I kid you not.

It gets driven around 2/3k a year, but spends most of it's time in it's heated garage with two de-humidifiers going 24/7.

I am pretty good when it comes to cleaning and do the backs of the wheels etc, but the IS dust on my engine sometimes!
