I wonder would that be possible to do on S2 considering the weight of the door?
But not only would that look great IMHO, it would also solve some tight parking space problems.

It's been done before. Not to my liking, but then whatever someone wants to do to their car is not up to me.

Lambo doors................. each to their own.
i helped install one on my mates ovlov and they shudder in the wind and useless in multistorey carparks.
I saw some on a Civic once - you still have to open them slightly in the normal direction before tilting them, because of the shut lines and the shape of thet aperture the door closes into.
I don't see any advantages in doing this. Butterfly type doors are used on the racing sportscars to help prevent them getting sucked open and ripped off at 200mph, and because the low roofline has to incorporate part of the aperture so the driver can get in and out. Neither of these issues would concern us!
Spend the money on performance enhancements.

And another thing ...if that's as high as they get (pictured above) - and on the Honda I saw, that really was as high as they got - they are actually even less practical than standard! Don't hit your head!!!

I guess it's down to taste and opinion. I think they are ***** like the stuff you see in Lax Power, and I fail to see the point of adding complexity and weight on supposed performance cars.

Wing looks totally unsuitable IMHO, quite apart from the fact that it seems to be flat with no profile of any value, and it's mounted in that nice area behind the cockpit which totally masks any airflow to it...
