    Modified S2 bumper??

I found this bumper on the Nordic Audi site. Unfortunately, my comprehension of the Nordic languages, is none. Has anyone from the Nordic region seen this type of bumper before? It looks to be a modified S2.

The normal S2 bumper sort of swings up as it goes from the edge of the front type to the front of the protruding lip. This bumper is flat on the bottom almost. Looks like the area below the bottom seam was cut, and the front lip was lowered. Then the two short struts in the lower grill were added, and the sides were filled in and smoothed out.

The upper part of the bumper is stock S2, as is the lower protuding lip.

I really like this bumper, and gives an alternative to the RS2, allowing more room for larger intercooler.

Nice bumper, as you said looks like modified S2 job. Those grills look familiar too, could be off another VAG car, leon cupra R or Octavia RS are my guesses, possible even Golf IV. Probably hacked the whole centre section out of an accident damaged bumper with these grills and plastic welded it in to the cut up S2 one, must have taken ages.

Modifying plastic bumpers like this looks good but is hard to do right and defo not a DIY project, and by the time you have paid someone to do it you might as well have shelled out for the RS2 gear.

Bumper looks ok, but looks daft on an Avant with stock sills - makes the car look front heavy.

          Hi,
Could you be a little more specific on how it was modified? Was it as groofosp suggested, that it has the center section from another car grafted onto it? Any information you can give me would be appreciated.

I like the looks of the bumper, an even though you may spend a little more you would have something a little more unique, and not just off the self.

              Modyfied stock bumper

              That´s KENO´s car. Or was.

I talked to him some time ago. The bumper is a stock bumper that has been cut horisontely over the intakes. Then he lowered it 3cm an plasted it back together. The first one he mad didnt hold together to well som he hade anotherone made.

This time jusing glasfiber. He med one upper part that goes down to the lower part of the intakes. then he mad the lower part going up to the top of the intakes.

From these two parts he med one complete bumper.

He told me it was allot of work and that he wold never do it againg. But it´s cool and it´s oncommon.

                Hi,
Thanks for the information. I figured it was something like that, but I just wanted to verify it. If you get a chance could you possibly ask him if he made the grills or used something from another car?

                Thank you,
                Greg
