All I can say is, No wonder you miss this car!!!
I've slowly but surely been getting used to this car, I've never been one to get in a car and drive it hard from the offset (if hard at all) but I have taken extra care to adjust to this one so that I wont get caught out by it.
I have never been one to power around corners, especially when I can't see what is around the bend, but its great when you are at the apex and can see your exit is as clear as anything so that you can power out.
It really was a superb hoon over there and I think someone recorded me doing it, so hopefully I will be able to track down whoever it was. :mischeif:Comment

I had the same problem with the door locks as Robatron and my mech has cured it today in a miracly easy way. I guess this is a different case, just in case smb has same hands as I do. So, I had a problem with the window closing 1/2 way down, read the posts here, removed the door card and at this point my mech skills reached its max peak and I decided to go to local garage (besides, I have to do this at open air and it is getting dark, plausibly excuse for myself
). Garage mechanic has confirmed the forum diagnoses that this is due to some wires of window "rope" (sorry) are broken, stand up and prevent the window mech to roll. A new one to buy, no dispute. I came back home, put the door card back... and the door doesn lock. It just pops up. Tried two times to remove / put back the card - no use, same story (I have removed the card a few times before and it worked fine afterwards). Back home, back the forum, read Robatron's post and was ready to look for the gasket. Today while changin the window cable (aha, not "rope"!
) at garage, I have metioned to the mechanic about the problem. Once the window mech was done, he has put the card back - the central lock does not work, pops out. He removed the card, had a single glance inside and re-located the cable which goes from the inside hook (to open the door from inside) to the door lock: for some reason (open air dark midnight
) I had put the cable throught the lower cut in the door and he has repeated the same way, he took the cabel and re-routed it via upper cut in the door. And the problem is gone! Fine locking! "attention to details"
Sorry for a long topic.
