    You need to find a paint stripper for professional/industrial use these are still contains methylene chloride (MC) try your local paint stores...

      If you mean the GRP tailgate, no, don’t put anything other than stripper meant for GPR on it or you will have hell of a time, you might even knacker the tailgate. If it’s steel tailgate on something else then I would imagine that fine. I won’t even use GRP paint stripper, not worth taking a chance.

      Keep it off the rubbers
      It's an S6+ tailgate so not fibre glass.

        I think I'll get the synstrip, read few reviews and people say it even takes powdercoating off which impressed me. Tried a cheap stripper I found in the shed and that started to do the job so I'm sure synstrip will work a treat.
