We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
Has anyone here removed a rear glass from b4 avant? Removing itself was fine but the I was not able to remove the trim sorrounding the glass without damaging it. The trim comes in three parts and Audi Tradition has only two of them. I also went to local car glass company to ask if they had some kind of general trim with no success. Does anybody have any ideas how to proceed? Glue the glass without the trim?
My plan is to fit the old glass back. I also asked my local Audi dealer, but they could not even find the part number while on the phone. Although the guy on the promised to get back to me. We'll see how it turns out
Try seals direct in Hampshire. I found them very good for obsolete tractor glass seals. If you send them a small section of the old seal, they might be able to match it.
