My S2 front bumper has got several hits on its 26 years lifespan. There is no holes or anything but it has cracked from here and there.
Tried to find post how the repair it properly but couldn't find any. So if anyone has done repairs to these (Pocan brand) Polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) bumpers I would much appreciate the help.
What is the best way to repair?
Welding? found some site that offers welding rods for PBT/PP plastics? But can you really do welding on these kind of bumpers?
Fiber glass? Does it stick to? Have red that there is PBT that is reinforced with fiber, but how is it with these bumpers?
Or something else? Any alternative ways to really fix those cracks for good?
Thanks.
