    Your verdict...on...protecting paintwork.

Hello - any experience out there of using products and/or companies to protect paintwork...

I've seen a few adverts for companies offering :

1- paintshield - which seems to be a film you fit ove the front of the car to protect from stonechips...I don't fancy that.

2- stuff you can spray on yourself - buy in a car mart for £10

3- a whole car treatment or the car done professionally that costs about £100

What's the verdict ? has anyone got any experience of these things/

I LOVE my car looking smart, but don't want to wash it every week!!!

i've got a strip of clear adhesive vinyl from 3m on the hood of my corrado, i assume it's the same idea (if not product) as the paintshield option you've got there. personally, i think its great. the only time you can see it at all is if the car is dirty and you see a small line where the edge is, other than that it is totally invisible. i would highly recommend such treatment to anyone.
