Hood´s springs set-up

How to set-up the hood´s springs?

My hood doesn´t have enough force on the springs to throw it selfs up!

the spring has a centre going through it, there is also a base to the spring where it meets to hood. using these 2 (long nose plyers on the centre and hold the base still with big spenner maybe) u can adjust the hight of it.

When there is not enough force to throw the hood up... we need to give more pre-charge on the spring or we need to make the spring longer, discharging it!

in that case hold the base still, and unscrew the centre of the spring thus making it longer.

Ive had issues where the hood dosnt pop open, that was due to me attaching the metal plate above the headlight which didnt align with the spring on the hood, maybe this is an issue with urs too?
