Front windscreen needed for S2 coupe ABY

While having the windscreen replaced they cracked the new one. Now I cannot find a replacement.

Windscreen Part number 895845099R Not available from Audi or Audi Tradition
Top Trim Part number 895845121C Not available from Audi or Audi Tradition

Does anybody know where I can get these parts.

On a side note I've been waiting on a new screen from Autoglass for the last 6 weeks, just got off the phone to them and still waiting have been told it's down to manufacturing delays. Said it could be another 4-6 weeks wait.

I have been to the Pilkington site but cannot find the screen I need. I have sent a message asking if they can supply.

I hope whoever's doing your screen is up to the task, it's the best part of a day's work to change a screen on Coupe properly, due to the complex A post trim trim arrangement. I've only seen a one UK Coupe that's had it's screen changed where I couldn't instantly notice something wrong and I've looked at a lot of cars. The job Autoglass did on my Coupe was dreadful, but as it had been done for the previous owner I had to live with it, if it had been mine when the job was done I'd have made them do it again.

I'm going through the insurance company so I have no idea the cost of buying the screen from Pilkington. However once I've got my rebuild out of the way I may buy a replacement screen and stick it in the loft if lead times are going into months!

I don't quite understand this? or do you mean you bent the edge over and damaged/ruined yours?

how much was the heated windscreens group buy? I've seen one UK company who was offering them.

Thats not to unrealistic. You have to self insure the glass. It will need a ply box knocking up for it.

Last batch from memory were £280/320 depending on batch size. Plus vat
