Front Bumper/Headlight washers - Cab Final

    Hello!

My 1999 Cab has the correct final edition bumper, with the smaller, rounder, rarer, headlight washer nozzles, bizarrely!

However, there is no plumbing behind them, and it has the 4L washer bottle, so I don’t think it ever had working headlight washers, because it would have had the bigger washer bottle if it did…?

What I can’t work out is if it’s more likely to have had a new bumper at some point (entirely possible in 25 years), or if maybe some of the final edition cabs got whatever bumpers were left in stock, being the final editions..?

If I want to “put the car correct”..am I better off:
    - getting a new bumper and respraying it?
    - having the present bumper plastic welded “headlight washer delete” style?
    - retrofitting the headlight washer system?

I may even leave it as is, as I can’t see a way without significant paintwork. The wing would have to come off to retrofit the bigger washer bottle even if I could find one…

    It’s a bit annoying because I’m a stickler for things being proper…

    Anyone faced a similar challenge?

You dont need to remove the wing to fit the larger bottle. It's all accessible from inside the arch once the liner is removed. I think i still have the larger reservoir here somewhere. I will check. Is there a spare plug in there for the headlamp washer motor?
