At least i think its the A-Pillar. Recently spotted rain drops coming in through the inside top of the passenger door. I noted a bit of corrosion from a join in the A-pillar where it meets the roof of the car. Can anyone tell me if they had the same problem and any solution.
My other coupe is a 94 2,8 VA quattro. Last year I needed a windscreen replacement and the drops you mentioned appeared from then on. The frame of the windscreen is so difficult to remove and replace that you have to tear down the roof frame quite a bit. I suppose the refitting was not as good as the factory fitting. Raindrops come in at heavy showers and sppeding. I think some automotive black silicone pasta would help but you have to spread it under the frames to make it perfect.
