my mirror has been a victim of the close local to*sers .... the mirror has become unseated from the case .. does it pop back in? .. or glued? .. or do i need a new one? ... I cant see any visible damage from quick inspection ..... audi mirror seems very strong

iirc from when I had my mirror off they have a circular shaped kind of clip on the back (white plastic iirc) . It takes quite a bit of persuading to get all of the teeth to line up and pop in to the receiving part on the mirror case meaning the mirror glass is then fully retained .
Worst case scenario, Im pretty sure the Audi Coupe mirror is the same you could get a replacement for cheap if that is indeed the case from many audi breakers (all audi for example)
