Rear Bumper Mounting brackets?

Are the 20V CQ and S2 couper brackets the same or different?
I've been told they are.

Cant see why (if you mean are they different) as I always thought the rear bumpers were interchangable on B3 / B4 coupes. - tho I stand to be corrected!!

I recently swapped bumpers on my 3B S2 (both S2 rear bumpers) and here's some pics of the bracket and locating holes if it helps!

You've been told they are what? The same or different? They are the same used for all coupes throughout the entire production cycle. HTH. US spec will doubtless be different.

I would bet money they are the same, front bumper is different on the S2 but it bolts straight on to a CQ. US models were completly differenent as they had the 5mph safety things.

CQ and S2 rear bumper is the same part number IIRC

So mounts should be the same.

US cars come with 5mph impact absorbers that look like horizontaly mounted shock absorbers. You may thank the insurance companies for that bit of nonsense.
