RS2 ducts in place of fogs.......

Hi All,

I've had a search but to no avail.

At the cost of a fiver and thanks to a mate at a body shop I now have my 993 ducts painted and ready to go on. What is the easiest way? Do you have to cut/modify them or do they just clip in?

Cheers for any advice before the front bumper comes off......

Doh! I typed in all kinds of variations and didn't get that thread. Urgh! cheers Jamo. Am I right in saying you just remove the indicator to get them in though?

yes take out indicator undo fogs ( my air duct slipped straight in no messing around..)
although mine arent as nice as jamos but they was all i could find. which do you have //

thanks fella. I got mine from Design 911. 993 ducts. they were pretty ***** grp but look great now they been sanded, primed, painted etc. I'll give them ago later and get back with how things go. Cheers again.

Right, job done.....

10 minutes. Just had to trim the overly long tab off the indicator side of the ducts and drill a single hole and re use the fog lamp screw. Easy! As stated for anyone who is thinking of getting them mine are from Design 911 and were the air ducts without fog lamp incorporated.

Can i ask is there room available at the back of the duct enabling you to jubliee clip on some ducting that would lead cold air down to the brakes ?

Yes, but i'm going to using mine for cold air feed to the turbo.
