  • bonnet/hood washet jet removal

Anyone have any tips for removing the washer jets from a B3/B4 hood with out messing up the paint/metal. I took one out at the junk yard on a busted hood, but I totally messed the hood up in doing so. I can't figure out how you would be able to pull the clip type thing that holds the jet in without some special tool or messing the hood up.

I'll try have a look later, i've did this before and think I got at it from underneath with a flat screwdriver, will try take pictures but will probably be tommorow I do it.

I replaced mine a couple of years back and also think I got at them from underneath. Isn't there two circular foam inserts that can be removed to gain access? Poke the clip in and it should pop out. This is from my poor memory, as I can't look.

Incidentally, replacing the jets didn't start them heating again.

It's a bit of a pain in the arse, BTDT, but doable without causing damage.
