If you love black headlight conversions...

    You'll love these.....

If you hate the black headlights, you'll more than ikely hate these too.....

Huge amount of hassle to do, and they are not just sprayed or tinted externally...
both sets of glass were removed, the interioors painted, and then refixed with black glue....
If anybody fancies trying it, the best way, is to get 1 good set of fogs, and one set with broken glass.... and cannibalise both sets together.... This is because the glass is stuck on good and proper, and is very very hard work to remove without breaking...!

Enjoy... (or not, as the case may be.....)

I really really like the look of the front now.... no more stuff to be done, apart from colour code the rubber side strips...

I wasn't convinced with the headlights alone but with the fogs done too i'm sold. Really like it mate.
Now if that idiot that's sending the side strips would just pull his finger out....

Not a big fan of the blacked out lights, but that at least now matches and looks a hundred percent better. Getting the glass off the unit isn't a job for the "can't be arsed" brigade. Hat off for that one matey.

Now get some HID's in the fogs to match the dipped beam :mischeif:

Hope these pics help lads. Not much space, but the ballasts "just" fit neatly.
One thing to check, the ballast cables on my passenger side (your drivers side) are just long enough from that position. Best check with the kit you get on how long the cables are When fitting the fog back in on my drivers side, I had to ever so slightly pull down on the oil cooler ducting from the inside, so that the body of the fog rested on top of the ballast. The bulb "just" say fits inside the unit with the cap back on. I had to seal around the outside of that cap with some of the non setting putty stuff used on the rear clusters as I noticed a bit of condensation getting inside. It's that tight.

Hope this helps in some small way,
                            Jas..

Those are good pictures jas, cheers for them

Take it those two packs are the one's for the fogs, where did you put the one's for the headlights?

Also looks like quite a few audi's in that picture at the bottom, anything interesting?
