Problem colour coded side strips

Anybody have problems with painting {colour coding}the rubber door/side seals with that flexible rubber??
my painter says its a problem and almost impossible to paint such flexible rubber strips
and it did cost me a hole lot exstra

can somebody confirm please its normal that painting rubber strips is much more expensive??

the flexible additive is not cheap,more is added to the paint depending on how flexible the item to be painted is...

its seems to be a real ....to paint.

and cost alot off $$$ exstra hope its worth it

the only problem is open the door against a post or a kurb and well thats it paint will crack and sometimes look worse than if you just left it black in colour..
