    Chassis steam clean?

there a place near me that steam cleans buses - i was considering taking my CQ down there to get the underbody and chassis steam cleaned.
Theres years of filth under there, and lots of oil blown down from previous leaks etc. I thought that might help to me spot any existing problems and also to see where any restoration is needed underneath.

I know its not healthy for electrical sensors etc - i wasn't planning on getting the engine bay done, just the underside.

Any ideas around this or things i should consider? - is this a good / bad idea?

I would add that you may want to just check you don't drive any grease out of any important areas. None of which I can think of off the top of my head mind you...

        Cheers,

yeah i had a think about that but couldn't really think of any major dramas... unless the dirt is the only thing holding the chassis together
