Door Rubbing On Front Wing Help

Odd that my front passenger door has just started to rub the front wing, it's right where the plastic moulding sits on the door. The door hasn't dropped and the only thing done recently was a new door catch mechanism. So how do i stop this and adjust the door, seems like the door could do with moving back 2mm towards the rear dorr.

    Thanks

    Iain

Has anyone/anything lent on the wing as even if it has not been off if something has pressed it then it can give this result, you could check that/try pull on the wing a bit. I had this on one of my old audi's.

you need to adjust both the hinges by the sound of it to move the door "back" as you say. There is a 12mm allen key insert you can adjust to alter the door shut.

i think i now understand, you have to remove the bolt first then adjust inside the bolt hole???

Thats right Iain, only adjust in very small increments as these changes are "amplified" at the door.
