    Rear washwipe failure

Strange one this. Rear wiper jet failed to work a couple of weeks ago. Bottle level not going down, motor working and piping in tailgate all OK. I have cleared to jet with 'me trusty bit o wire' but still no joy.
Drained the bottle and refilled with warm water at pressure to clear any debris but still no joy.
The best I can get is a tiny bit of screenwash at the jet after holding the control stalk
    for a minute or two.

Any ideas on what else to try.

Washers are a bit weird at the moment with the front headlights working on & off

It seems eems to be a day for Audi gremlins. Maybe the piping between the pump and the jet has become twisted or deformed somewhere?

Looked at some old posts. I wonder if the motor has corroded internally allowing it to spin but fail to work. Will check it again and piping as my initial guess was a popped pipe which was an issue when I got the car.

The popped pipe is a common one. I deleted that suggestion when I reread you post saying that you can see a little screenwash. Let us know how you solve it.

Sorted. The thing started working & then the hose came off with the usual mess. I fixed with two zip ties at either end. Now it works better than ever. I suspect when it was fixed before the (rather large) mechanic actually compressed the plastic with the zip tie creating a partial obstruction.
So if you have a weak steam, check your zip ties are not too tight or out of place

I have a problem with my actual wiper... it doesn't actually wipe the top of the rear window... as though it can't cirve round the contour of the glass. The blade is new.

              Rubbish spring?

Worth lubricating the arm bracket but even at its best mine never does the very top bit.

Think it's one motor for front and rear..passenger side behind the wheel arch I believe.

Nope the rear as a dedicated motor/pump
Location in the boot back rightside (passenger side) fixed on the washing liquid reservoir.

Yes the central locking pump sits there as well wrapped on a foam "box" move that away and you'll see the washer pump on the bottom of the reservoir, easy to get it out just pull and twist gently and it pos out.
