hi as above the noise is like a strangled cat[apparantly] the glass is rubbing on the outer bottom rubber seal anybody any ideas i thought of silicone grease but would this not then be all over the glass?

Use furniture polish, conatins silicone, cleans the window and smells nice...
Its what i always use for the rubber/glass interface squeaks!

Do let us know if you find a nice product for this - I use AUtoglym glass polish which works fine but the windees still give that awful screech...Paul Nugent
