    Quick paint code question.

I haven't had a decent chance to look properly as I'm busy trying to do other things right now, so I hope you'll bear with me.

Where can I find the paint code of my S2 Avant? I'm pretty sure its non-metallic Indigo Blue but I want to make sure, unfortunately I need it fairly urgently please.

    Many thanks,

Thanks to everyone for the super quick replies. I went out and had a look, but the sticker has been peeled off, leaving just the backing. So I'm still no wiser as to officially what colour it is.

Is there a "Plan B" for finding out what it is?

The same sticker is inside the service book - along with VIN and engine number, option codes etc etc

Unfortunately, thats missing too. There's an e-mail in the folder from an Audi garage in Stoke with a very brief summary of its service history, engine and chassis number. It says its Brilliant Blue.

For a beer or twelve, you might get some luck with s2avant on here - he has access to a dealership system and can look up data based on reg plate or VIN. Worth a try like - he is mighty helpful !!!!

                  Did someone mention beer?

Post up or PM me your Reg or VIN and I'll take a look.

If at the worst take it to a paint shop and use the swatches to match the paint up.

Pete, if I didn't have any luck with trying to cross-reference the VIN numbers, that was going to be my next step.

Ben, you have a PM and thanks everyone else .
