    Fuse 14 failure....

    Hello!!

    The fuse to the instrument lights (14) keeps braking down, what can it be ? anyone who has any tips? What do the relay number 214 do ? Anyone who has an shedual for the relays in the fusebox ?

      Coupe or avant? Maybe licence plate light wiring.

          When I had that issue the switch in my glove box was fault and shorting - took me ages to find too.

              ditto licence plate wiring....

              ETA: OR, it could be a dodgy car stereo installation. I had that on my '80 tdi...

                      Rocco have the same problem.
                      He no have light in instruments panel and if I put the fuse it going down.

                      The lights are ok but when he turn on the High light, the shorts light turn off.
