Full respray, cost.

Hi all, has anyone had a full body respray recently? I would love to give my Black Betty (Bam ba Lam) (is that a little sad? ) a full respray but wanted to know how many pennies im going to have to put aside. thanks in advance all.

I enquired about a complete respray (out of curiosity) when i got my rs2 bumper sprayed - £2.5k.

here in my Town a very good respray and paint fully work (only exterior parts)

will be around between 600-1200€

The whole car is patchy, been well looked after but it is 20 year old paint so; the bumper is scuffed on the corners, very minor. very small stone chips and generally looking old. the bonnet has 2 2p size bubbles that have cracked and im sure will grow with time, around the drivers door handle the paint work as been DIY'd so looks a bit tatty close up. and in general there small scratches everywhere, some bigger ones on the roof. from afar it looks lovely, close up it looks 20 years old!

If the paint/laquer is broken, then yes it is respray time unfortunately....

You could get a budget job for about 1K / 1.5K.
Or a fairly high standard one for about 2k / 3K.
Or to do a top level factory standard it going to be 4K+.

Could try detailing it first and seeing what happens then getting the other bits sorted if still needed.

could do a course in paint spraying then make a booth like djones and spray it yourself

thanks all. I am looking at exterior only and will seriously consider going abroad if need be, any excuse for a road trip. If i get any good quotes ill post names and costs etc.
