I'll get in touch and see if he/she's on the forum and if there's a deal to be done - would you be up for a 'trial fitting'?

Well i'll get in touch with seller and see if they're up for a trial fitting with a local forum member and then a possible bulk buy if it looks good and enough are interested.

the quality will never be as good as the original, but the point is having a cheap 'good' replica to either go by,or save the original.Plus these bumpers are also reproduced in case of a crack. You collect he pieces and they can be easily fixed.

It would be interesting if they could also improvise a small mount for the headlamp washer tube underneath,as well as make the small holes for the jets.(i bet the holes are easily done, but the hose mounts could be tricky

I had seen this and thought it looked reasonable value but as has been mentioned it really needs seeing first. If someone could check it ( and the sellers ) out and all looks OK I would probably have one - especially if there's a discount to be had !
If these guys can get them, it doesn't sound like they make them themselves, it makes you wonder if there would be any chance of finding out where they are actually coming from ( Germany ? ) and see if we could get them direct. Probably not but someone on here might know. Just a thought.

One thing to remember is it does not look like there is any tags for the mesh on the front which would be a pain to mount for the oem look and the price of the mesh as well as with the lights/indicators/mesh/washer jets you'd be looking at that amount again.

washer jets works out about £25 a side

(i've been down and ordered a ring I missed off mine on thurs so have noticed this price rise)

It does look better than any i've seen so far for the fact that it has the mounting on the back to actually fit it to the car, otherwise it would be a pain to do.

yes, there should be some kind of mounting for the mesh brackets.maybe we can tell them that as well if we are to go on a GB

Got a reply from the seller as follows:

"hi no im not on the forum...sure i have no problem with organising a group buy. I will need to get a bumper in stock first however before this can be done...the bumper i have currently is already fixed in place...someone with a bit of time could benefit from a cheap bumper as the brackets need to be played with i would guess....you can call on 07866 484 228. thanks ifty"

Anyone fancy contacting the bloke as i'm snowed under with work here and i'm not sure what next best move is........perhaps someone local could arrange once he 'has one in stock' to get a better test fitting and assess the quality?

If no one keen to run with this then i will chip away over xmas and see when he can get one and how we could test one out - but i'm a bit far away in Glasgow
