    Arch Rolling

Anybody recommend a good arch roller? Or have any experience of Arch Rolling?

Been looking at this company http://www.archenemy.co.uk/index.htm

I will be running larger wheels in the future and I'm getting some rubbing on my current S8's on the rear.

Thanks for the link s-express - I will be getting one of these soon as both my cars will be rubbing if i don't

the s2 rubbed slightly on the 19's without lowering it, the avant definately will rub on the s8's

The Avant wouldn't rub on S8's if I'd bought the setup for it but the setup was for the Coupe, others have it running fine.

I reckon it would be dead easy to make an arch roller from a scissor jack and old skate wheel - no joke I'm serious!!!!

The Avant is different it doesn't have an inside lip as such so the wing needs to be rolled, getting it done professionally.

              Anybody had it done?

They did my mates 2 yr old s3 and it looks like its been in a hit and run. Theres a thread on one of the vw forums im on asking a similar question as yours with mixed response.
If you want me to post the link i will to the thread i will
As your probably aware they dont guarantee not to crack the paint so theres also the cost of paint n top of the work they carry out

Post the link up, I'm seeing there are regional people doing it and the top guy is in London. There is mixed reactions to the Scottish Rep!

trying to find the link atm, it was on edition38. Id say get some pics or better still contact numbers of customers who have had work done by the guy who your planning on getting to do yours, preferably a coupe or avnt that theve done in the past
Are the avants rear arches double or single skinned? i cant remember. If theyre double skinned make sure they weld the skins back together again once theve been rolled and check the welds yourself before they slap liberal amounts of underseal on.
I was going to get them to do the rears on my old mk2 vr but after the mess one of the regional guys made of gordys s3 i decide to get the done properly at a bodyshop
Phil seems to know what he's doing (the guy in london)

Jamo, just go to your local pannel beater with a good rep and they will do it very easily. The S2's arches can pretty much be folded.
