ill take some more pictures tomorrow when i put on the cf hood. i also took a whole bunch of pictures, and plan to do a 'how-to' write up in the next couple weeks for all you guys eyeing up the project. overall it was very easy, just a little tedious when you have to be so careful not to scratch or paint where you dont want to

When i get the ellipsoid's i was planning do to the same. Saw it on doug and mark's car and the paint will accentuate the round 'eyes' more.

The guy on this pic below has painted his high beam and sidelight's too.
Do you know if this is possible or how do you think it looks?
The high beam will not be lightning up the road for you very good or?

Anyway your headlights look very shiny now with the yellow

Did you have to make many changes to the wiring for the 'RS2 lights'? or was it a straight swap?

How does the old grille fit. I have a CQ20V and have the old style (and better looking) front!

the company i got the rs2 lights from provided a wiring harness to make the change. here is a diagram of how to make the change to rs2's from the us-spec b3 lighting. not sure if its any different for your stock lights over there. there is an 1 to 1.5" gap on either side of the grille to the headlights....but the cf hood i have is b4 style, so that will be gone. in general i prefer the b3 hood and front end.....but couldnt pass up the cf hood. ive seen a couple people mold extensions onto the stock grille to fill the gap. maybe throw some ducts in there for your brakes

I was thinking of some better lights and I thought that there was a gap. I was thinking about a custom Grille if I went ahead. I copuld make one easily enough. I just need some time! I would appreciate a copy of the wiring diagram.

The Euro cars have indicators in the front bumper and so we don't need that bit of the conversion. It is always interesting to see how people go about the modifications with their wiring. It has given me the information I need to modify my units should the need arise.

They are late s2/rs2 episolid headlamps. VAG parts sell them, and the black on the projector is spayed on by yourself.....
