Coupe Shell

hi im new to the audi coupe and wondered if the 2.2e coupe (non turbo) is the same shell as the s2 coupe as my friend wants to know if he can convert his coupe to 4wd using the s2 parts if anyone could help me that would be great. thanks ben.

If it's not a CQ then you will have to cut the floor pan and tunnel out of a quattro. You would be better finding a 2.3 20V quattro to begin with. This way you can just put the S2 engine straight in.

hi thanks for the qick reply what is CQ and how can i tel if its a CQ? i forgot to say that its 1990 if that makes any difference.

CQ = coupe quattro

check out error404's thread on his coupe quattro 20v as that will end up with an s2 engine (when he comes and gets it )
